Pick the right machine

Mad Moose equipment and seating

Compare the equipment categories listed on Mad Moose’s rental website. Seat counts include the driver, so a four seat UTV carries one driver and three passengers.

Equipment photos are model examples from Polaris Adventures and Mad Moose. Model year, color, trim and the machine supplied may vary. View Mad Moose’s equipment list ↗

How many machines are available?

A March 17, 2026 visitor report describes a rental fleet of more than 100 vehicles. That is a reported overall fleet figure, not a confirmed count of UTVs available for your outing. Current quantities by model are not published. Confirm the number of two, four or five seat machines for your date directly with Mad Moose at 435 220 5332.

For group planning, twelve riders would need at least three four seat machines if all seats are usable and suitable for the riders. Your operator confirms drivers, passenger fit and availability.

Southern Utah & Nevada travel answers

Before you book.

Can you drop us at Mad Moose at Sand Hollow or Quail Creek and collect us afterward?

Request transportation to the exact meeting address on your Mad Moose confirmation. Sand Hollow and Quail Creek are different locations. Confirm both the activity site and return pickup before the trip.

How much chauffeur time should we book for a guided UTV tour?

Include the drive, required check-in, tour length and time to clean up and load afterward. Send us your activity confirmation so the quote fits the real schedule. UTV activity tickets are separate from transportation.

Will the driver wait during our Mad Moose tour or return at a set time?

Choose standby or separate transfers when you request the quote. A return transfer needs a clear pickup time and meeting place. Standby must be booked for the full activity window.

Can we combine a UTV tour with a winery or hot springs stop the same day?

Yes, request the stops as one itinerary and check the activity reservation times first. Leave room to change clothes after riding. Tell us the order you prefer so we can check the route and timing.

What vehicle should we choose if we will be dusty after the UTV ride?

Choose the vehicle for your group size and equipment, then tell us about the riding plans. Bring clean layers and bag dusty gear before boarding. Confirm interior protection and any cleaning charges in your booking.

Can you coordinate pickup so we reach our UTV reservation on time?

Yes, share the required check-in time, not just the tour start. We plan the pickup around the drive and a loading buffer. Keep your phone on and tell us quickly if the outfitter changes the meeting details.
