Zion Scenic Tour

Make more of your time here.

Take in Zion's canyon views from a private vehicle, with your own chauffeur handling the road.

Zion National Park (National Park Service)

Zion brings towering sandstone cliffs and narrow canyon landscapes into a day of scenery and walking. Check park alerts and choose routes that match your group’s mobility and available time before setting the itinerary. Its contrast between high rock walls and canyon-floor views suits travelers who want to understand the landscape without committing to a demanding hike.

Zion Canyon shuttle (National Park Service)

A ride on the Zion Canyon shuttle links scenic stops and trailheads beneath the canyon walls. Private vehicle restrictions apply on the Scenic Drive during shuttle service, so plan the visit around the park’s published transport guidance. This is a useful option for sightseers who want to combine the canyon ride with selected short walks.

Things to do from St. George, Utah

A day for views, photographs and unhurried stops

A Zion scenic outing is one way to explore Southern Utah when your group wants views and time together. Start in the St. George area and plan a private trip around the scenic route and stops you want to discuss.

This page is for a scenic tour, while the separate Zion shuttle visit page focuses on transportation to the park’s shuttle area. Choosing the right experience makes it easier to match your group’s interests, time and vehicle.

Use the destination information to consider viewpoints and time outside the vehicle. Share your group’s priorities when planning the ride, whether that means photography, a relaxed pace or combining the day with a meal in Springdale.

Southern Utah & Nevada travel answers

Before you book.

Do you provide just transportation, or can drivers/guides offer local knowledge?

Your chauffeur handles the drive and can share local tips about Zion, Springdale and Southern Utah. A chauffeur is not automatically a licensed tour guide or hiking guide. Ask for any guided activity before booking.

Are large or commercial vehicles restricted inside Zion National Park?

Yes. The Zion–Mt. Carmel Highway limits include 35 feet 9 inches in length, 7 feet 10 inches in width, 11 feet 4 inches in height and 50,000 pounds. Commercial access has separate rules. Check the actual vehicle and route before booking.

East Zion scenery, with your own chauffeur.

Plan a private Zion scenic tour around the Zion–Mount Carmel Highway, Checkerboard Mesa and permitted photo stops. Hotel pickups in St. George, Springdale and the Zion area can connect your group with East Zion scenery and a separately reserved lunch at Zion Mountain Ranch. We match the vehicle and route to current park access. This chauffeur outing is separate from a guided hike or the public Zion Canyon shuttle.
